Exactly what we check, and what we will not pretend to know
Most verification sites imply they can see everything. That is not true, and it is why their reports feel like fortune telling. Here is the honest version of what a Profile Flag scan does, written so you can hold us to it.
Photo checks
What this can tell you: We look for the same photo appearing elsewhere under different names, and for the generation tells left by image models. A photo found on three unrelated profiles is a fact you can verify yourself.
What it cannot: A photo that appears nowhere else is neutral, not proof of honesty. New or private photos simply have no public trace.
Handle and name checks
What this can tell you: We check one handle across 17 public platforms, plus common spelling variants. An account that exists, is public, and responds is reported as found. One we cannot confirm is reported as not found, never as a maybe dressed up as a match.
What it cannot: A private account can exist without being publicly visible. Not found means not publicly confirmed, not does not exist.
Story consistency
What this can tell you: We cross-check what someone told you (job, city, age) against their public footprint and flag where the story and the record disagree.
What it cannot: Public records lag real life. Someone can have moved, changed jobs, or simply keep a small footprint.
Source and confidence on every finding
What this can tell you: Every finding in a report names its source and is marked as fact or guess. You can click through and check the evidence yourself.
What it cannot: We never mark a probability as a certainty. Where the evidence is thin, the report says so out loud.
What we never do
- We use public information only. No hacking, no private databases, no phone records, no live location.
- We never show a profile as found unless we confirmed it responds publicly.
- We never invent a finding to make a report look fuller.
- We do not support stalking or harassment, and our terms say so in plain words.
